A production cel and background from the Filmation Studios animated series "The New Adventures of Superman" (1966-1970). Featuring Superman flying by Lois Lane and a mustachioed man wearing a sombrero and poncho, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces represent frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the series. Measuring 10.75"x13.75" overall, with the character image measuring 4"x7.75", the piece is in very good condition with wear to the right side of the cel overlay and light line wear.
