This is a production cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Yogi Bear. Featuring a perfect pose of Yogi smiling and waving, the hand-painted model cel was created at the studio and used during production. Model cels are created as reference tools for the ink and paint department, so that they can ensure consistent character design and coloring. The cel is paired with a hand-painted production background that appears to be from the HB series The Buford Files. The setup measures 10.5”x12.75” as it is pictured, with Yogi’s image measuring 5.75”x3.5”. The setup is in very good condition overall with minor surface wear throughout, adhesive residue around the edges, the cel is stuck to the background, and there is some paint damage to Yogi’s right arm due to being stuck to the background.
