A multilayered original concept drawing for an unproduced Marvel animated series for Captain America. Featuring several illustrations depicting Captain American and military planes flying over Big Ben, the concept artwork was created at the studio by an artist named Ricardo, and used to pitch the series to executives. Due to the success of Marvel cartoons in the 1990s, the studio began development on more classic comic properties, including Captain America. After Marvel faced financial hardships, the work on these new shows was canceled. Measuring 19"x24" overall, the artwork is in very good condition with minor edge and surface wear, bending, curling and a small tear on one of the layers on the bottom left corner.
