An original model drawing from the MGM Studios animated series "Droopy" (1943-1958). Featuring several brilliant illustrations of the titular character in different expressions and poses, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Original model drawings are photocopied at the studio and the copies are distributed to ensure character consistency among animators. The one-of-a-kind originals are much rarer than their photocopied counterparts. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.5"x10.5", the drawing is in very good condition with page discoloration and minor dimpling, due to age and handling.
